Consortium for Professional Learning

Learninng Media is a member of a consortium of providers - the Consortium for Professional Learning (CPL) - that have been contracted by the Ministry of Education to provide Literacy and Leadership and Assessment professional learning and development in the Northern and Central South regions, and Leadership and Assessment professional learning and development in the Southern region of New Zealand.

The Consortium is comprised of three organisations - Learning Media, Evaluation Associates, and the University of Auckland. Together, the three organisations are able to provide high quality facilitation and support to schools which are interested in improving their leadership, assessment processes, teaching and learning.

Te Mura – Health Literacy Alliance

Te Mura is the Health Literacy Alliance established by Learning Media Ltd, Te Rau Matatini and Quigley and Watts Ltd in 2010. Te Mura will work alongside health organisations to help people easily understand health information, how to obtain the services they need, and will enhance health workers' ability to communicate information effectively. Te Mura's focus is on improving the health literacy of New Zealanders, getting the right health information to the rightpeople at the right time.

The HSC’s primary goal is to contribute to the reduction in illness and disease and the consequent burden on clinical health care services. The HSC is a specialist agency with 20 years accumulated experience and expertise in promoting healthy lifestyles. It operates as a national health promotion service provider with a long-term focus on reducing the social, financial and health sector costs of a number of health behaviours.

Autism New Zealand Inc. provides support, training, advocacy, resources and information on Autism Spectrum disorders including Aspergers Syndrome. Its members include children, young adults and adults on the autism spectrum; their family/whanau; caregivers; and professionals who work within this field.
